This low sugar, rich caramel sauce will have you wanting to drizzle it on every treat and dessert….. Or just eat it straight from the jar. Go on, indulge and enjoy!
MAKES: 1 1/2 Cups
You will need
2 packets Noshu 95% Sugar Free White Choc Baking Chips
2 packets (300g) Noshu 95% Sugar Free White Choc Baking Chips
500 g evaporated milk
15 g butter
3 tsp vanilla essence
Pinch of salt
In a medium saucepan on low-medium heat, stir together both packets of Noshu 95% Sugar Free White Choc Baking Chips and evaporated milk. Let this cook, keeping an eye on it and stirring every now and again for 1 hour. After this time, the caramel should have about tripled in thickness and now be a rich golden colour. At this point, stir through the butter, vanilla and salt until well combined.
When serving after storage, heat caramel sauce in microwave for 30 seconds to ensure a smooth and runny consistency.
Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
